The first words I hear when I see this card is "grab it by the horns!" What is it? Your desires, the things you want to create, the ideas you've had and the things you want to do. Wands is the suit of fire. Fire is about change, creation, desire, getting shit done and clearing the path for something new. This card is a beacon that shines saying you can do it. You are blessed to do it. You can focus on doing it. You will enjoy doing it.
Ace's are the first card of each minor arcana suit and as such, they represent beginnings. In this case, this card shows a wand growing from the desert ground with leaves at the bottom and stuck like a match on the top. It shows that things can grow even in dry land. That you can create and even thrive in spaces you may not have expected. This card is about focusing on the doing, not on what anyone else is saying. Even the negative self-talk stating maybe you can't do it or it won't be good enough. It doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be complete. It's just saying, get started. This may be an art project, piece of writing or a step towards a goal you have for yourself. This Ace shines as a beacon of guidance and belief.
Questions to ask yourself and consider this week: What space to I need to create? What nourishes my creativity? How can I get started? What kinds of doubts and thoughts may be preventing me from starting?
As a collective, we may feel a more fiery energy and notice that desires, creation and do before thinking energy may be present throughout the week. This can be a beautiful thing. But remember like all flames, you still must navigate them with care. When people and energy is in its element, it doesn't like to be disturbed or disrupted. It may react and even overreact. Now is a great time to nurture your own space and indulge in the fiery depths of creation you find within yourself. And admire when and where you find it in others.
